Rest Easy Here

At SISUU, our love for the sun and sea drives our commitment to minimising environmental impact. We tread lightly by supporting seaweed restoration.

We’re mindful of every aspect, not just the immediate benefits of using our tonic but also the lifecycle of our packaging. We strive to use sustainable materials that are easily recyclable.

Our sustainable practices reflect our genuine love for nature and desire to preserve it for future generations. By combining passion with innovation, we strive to set a standard for environmental responsibility and inspire others to do the same.

GIVING BACK

At SISUU, we donate 5% of our profits to Operation Crayweed, a seaweed restoration project. Thanks to our contributions, we've funded the creation of five seaforests, helping to revitalise marine ecosystems and support biodiversity. This initiative reflects our commitment to protecting and preserving our beloved ocean environments.

Seaweed restoration involves replanting seaweed in areas where it has declined, helping to restore marine habitats and improve water quality. Seaweeds may not be the most glamorous of sea creatures, but they’re among the most important, providing critical food and habitat that support hundreds of species. Just like trees on land, seaweeds form vast underwater forests that underpin coastal food webs, while quietly capturing atmospheric carbon and producing precious oxygen. At SISUU, we also donate our time to these efforts, actively participating in planting activities. Our hands-on involvement underscores our dedication to environmental stewardship and the health of our oceans, with seaforest areas including Cabbage Tree Bay, Freshwater Headland, and Newport.

If you are interested in supporting or learning more about Operation Crayweed, getting in touch is easy. Visit their website at operationcrayweed.com for detailed information about their projects, volunteer opportunities, and ways to donate. You can also follow them on social media to stay updated on their latest restoration efforts and community events.

OUR PRODUCTS & SUPPLY CHAIN

At SISUU, we are dedicated to sourcing the finest ingredients for our products. This begins with our small batch organic Australian apple cider vinegar, renowned for its purity and quality.

We also partner with Rita's Farm, a women-run organic farm, to ensure we receive the freshest and most sustainably grown produce. Our commitment to quality ingredients reflects our mission to provide the best possible products while supporting local and sustainable agriculture.

We aim to use compostable materials wherever possible to reduce our ecological footprint.

If it’s glass, you can repurpose it as a vase or where ever your creative mind takes you.

Alternatively, you can recycle it or bring it back to our markets for a refill. If you have one of our satchels, please seek out a TerraCycle location to ensure it’s recycled properly.

To refill your SISUU Tonic bottle at our markets, simply rinse it out and bring it to our stall. We'll refill it for you and give you $5 off the price.
